Payment of Application Fee

The payment of the application fee MUST be completed online through SBI Collect. Please follow the following procedure to pay your application fee. On successful completion of your fee, you MUST upload the payment receipt by clicking the Upload Receipt button given above.

Payment through SBI Collect

1. Visit the SBI collect portal

2. Select category : Educational Institutions

3. Filter out the list of institutions to select Gauhati University

4. Select Payment Category : Application Fee (Against GU Advertisment)

5. Fill up all the necessary details.

6. In the Remark field, please enter your UAID

7. Pay your fee

8. Upload your Payment Receipt by clicking the button given above

Please NOTE that the reserved category posts have a reduced application fee. For details, see the official advertisement. Also NOTE that the fee is determined by the post NOT by the category of the applicant.

Evaluation Roadmap

Once we receive your application, it will be evaluated by a team of experts which will decide whether you will be invited to a personal interiew befroe a Selection Committee. Please NOTE the following:

• The evaluation is a lengthy process and is expected to take time.

• The evaluation will be based on what you submit in your online application form. So, in your best interest, you are advised to upload the necessary documents, which should be legible and clear.

• Kindly inspect your documents before uploading, to see whether they are legible and clear. All unreadable documents will be summarily rejected.

• Mere satisfying the basic qualifications does not necessarily result in an invitation to appear before the Selection Committee.

• All submissions will be final and one-time submissions. Appying a second time or more for the same post within the present application window may result in a disqualification.

• You will NOT be allowed to submit any documents after you have submitted your application form. So, see for yourself if you have uploaded all your documents before hitting the submit button.

• All qualifications MUST be fulfilled and will be evaluated on the day of the submission of the online application form.

• While we take every effort to make the application process smooth and easy, you may encounter errors. In such cases, please send an email to gu-cas@gauhati.ac.in with a screenshot of your window describing the error.

• Mere completion of the application process and submission of the application does not necessarily result in an invitation for personal interview before a selection committee.
